As we move through the second half of summer, the housing market across Rochester, the New Hampshire Seacoast, and Southern Maine continues to show steady activity. While the pace may begin to slow slightly compared to early summer, motivated buyers and sellers are still taking advantage of favorable conditions.

Inventory has improved in some communities, giving buyers more options than they had earlier in the year. However, well-maintained and competitively priced homes continue to attract strong interest and often receive multiple showings shortly after hitting the market.

For sellers, pricing remains one of the most important factors. Today's buyers are well-informed and carefully comparing homes before making an offer. Homes that are priced appropriately and presented well continue to stand out.

If you're considering buying, this can be an excellent time to shop before the fall market arrives. You'll often find less competition than in June while still enjoying a healthy selection of available homes.
