Running for a Reason: The Stiletto Sprint Supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters

Every September, downtown Portsmouth looks a little different when runners trade their sneakers for high heels and take to the streets for a great cause.

The Stiletto Sprint is an annual fundraiser supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire and Vermont, bringing together local businesses, community members and supporters for a race that’s every bit as fun as it sounds.

$70,000 Raised for Local Youth

This year’s event raised an incredible $70,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters, helping support the organization’s work connecting young people throughout New Hampshire and Vermont with caring adult mentors.

Beyond the heels, costumes and friendly competition, that impact is what makes the Stiletto Sprint such a special local tradition. It’s a chance for the community to come together, have some fun and support an organization making a difference for kids right here in our area.

Two Years as Stiletto Sprint Champs!

The Zoeller Group has made the Stiletto Sprint an annual team tradition, and we’re proud to say our team crossed the finish line in first place for the second year in a row!

While we’ll happily hold onto our bragging rights for another year, getting to participate alongside so many local businesses and community members is the best part.

Real estate gives us the opportunity to be part of communities throughout the Seacoast, and events like this give us another way to show up for them.

More Than a Race

Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships designed to help young people build confidence, develop meaningful connections and reach their potential.

The Stiletto Sprint is just one of the ways our local community helps make that work possible, and seeing $70,000 raised in a single event is a pretty great reminder of what can happen when everyone shows up for a shared cause.

We’re already looking forward to lacing up the heels again next year!
