Where to Watch Fireworks Around the Seacoast This Summer

Summer is here, and that means it's time to gather with family and friends to celebrate with one of New England's favorite traditions—fireworks! Whether you're looking for a hometown celebration, a beachside display, or a full day of family fun, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy Independence Day festivities throughout the Seacoast and beyond.

Here are some of the fireworks events happening near you in 2026:

Rochester Lilac Family Fun Festival

Saturday, July 11, 2026
4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Spaulding High School & James W. Foley Memorial Community Center

The Rochester Lilac Family Fun Festival returns as one of the area's most anticipated summer events. Enjoy free kiddie rides, food trucks, live entertainment, community vendors, and a spectacular fireworks display to end the evening. Rain date is July 12.

Dover Fireworks Celebration

Thursday, July 2, 2026
Fireworks at Dusk (Approximately 9:15 PM)

Head to Dover for an evening of music and fireworks. The 39th Army Band will perform at Henry Law Park beginning at 6:00 PM before the fireworks launch from Garrison Hill after sunset.

Somersworth Independence Celebration

Friday, June 26, 2026
Festivities Begin at 5:30 PM

Somersworth kicks off the celebration early with live music, magic shows, family activities, food vendors, and fireworks at dusk at Somersworth High School.

Hampton Beach Fireworks

Every Wednesday Night Throughout the Summer
9:30 PM

One of the Seacoast's favorite traditions returns with weekly fireworks over the ocean. In addition, Hampton Beach will host a special Independence Day fireworks display on Saturday, July 4th.

Concord Fourth of July Celebration

Saturday, July 4, 2026
Memorial Field

Gates open at 6:00 PM with food vendors, family activities, and live music. Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:20 PM.

Rye Day Celebration

Sunday, July 5, 2026
Parsons Field

As part of the annual Rye Day festivities, enjoy food trucks, local vendors, live music, family-friendly activities, and an evening fireworks display.
