Why Location Matters So Much When Buying a Home
When you're buying a home, it's easy to get focused on bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and square footage. But one of the most important factors isn't something you can change after closing: location.
In the Seacoast NH and Southern Maine region, location can dramatically affect your lifestyle and your home's long-term appeal.
Think about your daily commute, schools, restaurants, shopping, beaches, parks, recreation, and access to major roads. Two homes with similar prices and features can provide completely different lifestyles depending on where they're located.
It's also worth thinking beyond your immediate needs. Will the location still work for you in five or ten years?
Before falling in love with a house, make sure you love the area around it, too.
